PAULO NAZARETH
Paulo Nazareth uses bold, simple ideas and imagery to make statements about ethnicity and identity. Using the language of actions and objects, his self portraits and installations often serve to highlight social and economic issues relating to South America.
Nazareth’s work is intimately connected to his Brazilian identity, providing eloquent insights into social and economic South American struggles. Although lacking Tomas Saraceno’s utopian vision, the two artists are alike in their strive for human connectivity and interest in interaction.
